She has five years’ experience instructing post secondary education students and massage therapists ,securing resources, and implementing effective programs. |

Dana Tate, BA, LMT, is Director of the Holistic Center in Tupelo, MS, and is an instructor of massage therapy at the Waldrip Center for Therapeutic Massage School and Clinic. The Lypossage® Master’s Program Educational Objectives: The Lypossage® Master’s Program has been designed, over many years, with the belief that success comes from additional knowledge. During the years that Lypossage® has been in the market place, we have noticed that therapists who have additional knowledge in Lymphatic Drainage and Myofascial Massage Modalities produce better Lypossage® results. We have also noted that as Alternative Health Services has become more acceptable in the health services arena (massage therapists are now working in hospitals and medical doctor’s offices) and the business of massage therapy has become more demanding and sophisticated. Spas are also an expanding market for massage therapists. Spas bring new questions about how a massage therapist integrates and functions within the spa environment, where male therapists fit in and the requirement that massage therapists sell products. Furthermore, treatments that are concentric to Lypossage® include therapies such as Prenatal Massage, various Spa Treatments and the challenge of keeping Massage Therapists, who have been injured, on the job and the acknowledgement that Lypossage® clients are a specific “Special Population”. To that end we have created the Lypossage® Master’s Program. With the addition of the following classes Lypotherapists have the potential, through additional training, to be some of the most successful massage therapists in the practice of massage therapy and business. These Lypossage® Master Trainers are qualified to teach courses, including Lypossage®, that total more than 163 hours of training. They are also qualified to train new Lypossage® Educators. Melanie Wiltsie will be Deploying to Iraq. Here is the information as provided by the Army and reported by The News Tribune: "A Fort Lewis Stryker combat brigade will deploy to Iraq this fall, several months ahead of the original schedule, Army officials said Monday. When the 4th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division departs, all three Stryker brigades based at the Army post will be simultaneously deployed to combat for the first time. Each brigade has about 4,000 soldiers." Melanie is an MP and it is unknown what her duties will be once deployed. |

Kate & Charles Wiltsie along with sister Samantha, say good-bye, for now, to Melanie, as she leaves for Army Basic Training in Missouri.
After Basic Training Melanie will continue her training as an MP. We wish Melanie everything good and love her very much.
Chosing to enlist in the armed forces during war time is exceptionally brave. We are proud of her and she has our admiration and support.
